Latest Version of Leading PC Power Management Solution Boasts Enhanced Usability, More Features, and Enhanced Performance

PowerPlug, a leader in PC power management solutions, announced today the availability of PowerPlug Pro Version 4.0. The new version offers greater usability, more features, and enhanced performance.

New features include scheduled restart and extended work hours definition to define the exact work hours for every power savings plan. Also included in the new version are new scripting events, an improved assignments screen, and a completely new wakeup portal with different views for normal users and for IT technicians.

PowerPlug Pro Version 4 is also designed to make reporting more efficient with a redesigned reports tab for simpler and quicker report generation. Automatic reports can be scheduled and generated and delivered by email. Version 4 also features redesigned XLSX output for selected reports and deployments by MSAD OUs and operations summary reports.

Improvements also include Windows 10 full support, MS-SQL 2014 support, and automatic data purging for daily records, which is essential for database performance in large installations. The new version also features a completely redesigned licensing system.
