Oct 13UMTB – Israel’s third largest bank picks PowerPlug for PC power savings & cutting related costs

UMTB (Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd.) implemented PowerPlug Pro, a leading power management solution for PC power savings, on more than 5,000 of its computers. UMTB chose PowerPlug Pro after conducting an extensive pilot that demonstrated the product’s ability to save power without affecting end-user’s productivity or the IT maintenance tasks. UMTB also conducted an extensive security audit to ensure that PowerPlug Pro conforms with the Bank’s security policies and requirements. PowerPlug Pro is successfully implemented on more than 5,000 computers at UMTB, optimized for the Bank environment with a mix of on-premise and remote computers spanning a complex network. Both the pilot and the production implementation were led by Mehish, UMTB IT subsidiary with the help of Integrity Software.
